New interface for eCopy ShareScan transfers documents directly from the scanner to the ECM system

With its new "EASY ENTERPRISE Connector for eCopy ShareScan®", EASY SOFTWARE now provides an interface that allows you to intelligently capture and index scanned hard-copy documentsdirectly from the multifunction device, and archive them in EASY ENTERPRISE.

Small volumes of hard-copy documents can simply be scanned on existing multifunction devices within a department; they can be indexed in EASY on the device using the eCopy ShareScan integration, and be stored in EASY ENTERPRISE. The eCopy ShareScan interface offers a selection of archives after the user logs in directly to EASY ENTERPRISE. All attributes of the archive are dynamically offered for indexing the scan documents.

The documents are safely stored along with indices as usual. The electronic documents can then be immediately searched, displayed and edited from EASY ENTERPRISE.

Beneficial synergies
eCopy ShareScan is a software platform for integrating office multifunction devices with information systems that creates beneficial synergies. So the user operates an already implemented device, which significantly reduces the training phase. Additionally, a variety of optional functions for distributing, enhancing and editing scan documents is available. EASY ENTERPRISE eventually provides the easy-to-use, revision-proof storage option for all corporate documents.

The EASY ENTERPRISE Connector for eCopy ShareScan®, then, enables all employees in an organization to commute hard-copy documents into electronic information that seamlessly integrates with existing processes and applications.
